Angels Mercy
|
Angels Mercy is balanced soy / maize based nutritional cereal that can be used as supplement
to the diet or can replace a meal. This product has a unique blend of protein from different sources,
namely soy and whey protein. This product also contains probiotic bacteria, namely Lactobacillus
acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum.

THE BENEFITS OF SOY PROTEIN
OSTEOPOROSIS
Clinical studies have shown that when repacing animal protein with
Soy Protein, there is a decrease of urinary calcium excretion.
This is attributed to the lower sulfur amino acid (SAA)
content of soy protein. This advantage of soy protein is quite attractive
considering most women do not meet dietry calcium requirements.
It is suggested that Isoflavones rich in soy protein reduce bone
loss in postmenopausal and perimenopausal women in comparison to milk protein
and soy protein low in isoflavones.
BREAST CANCER
Soy protein have potentially important non-hormonal effects relevant to
cancer prevention and treatment. Early soy protein intake
is protective against the later development of breast cancer. Soy protein
intake during the perinatal and prepubertal periods
reduces chemically induced mammary tumor multiplicity by approximately 50%.
Soy protein consumption during the teenage years
reduces the risk of developing breast cancer by 50%.
MENOPAUSAL SYMPTOMS
It is suggested by various clinical trials that in theory a women with
8 hot flushes per day who experienced a typical placebo
response of 25% would experience a 40% improvement
by consuming soy protein, thus hot flushes would decrease from 8 per
day to 4-5 per day.

Portion size: 100g dry cereal
Mix with hot or cold milk or water
Can be consumed with milk or yogurt
Instant breakfast cereal or as a meal replacement

The product should be kept in a cool, dry, ventilated place away from direct sunlight
Sell by date: 6 months from date of manufacture
If opened and resealed, the product should be used within 1 month
Packages should not be in direct contact with walls or floors
Stock should be used in rotation, preferably with 10 - 12 months of manufacture

child with a birth defect of the brain and spinal cord
INGREDIENTS
Extruded maize, whey powder (milk), sucrose, soy isolates, inilin, vitamins and minerals (sodium
chloride, dicalcium phosphate, tetra sodium pyrophosphate, magnesium oxide, zinc oxide, ferrous
fumarate, chromium citrate, vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6,
vitamin B12, folic acid, biotin, nicotinamide, pantothenic acid, ascorbic acid, potassium iodide,
sodium selenite), permitted nature identical flavoring and artificial coloring, probiotic cultures
(Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum).
PROBIOTIC:
Means live microorganisms ingenious to the human intestinal tract, which, when consumed in
adequate amounts improve the intestinal microbial balance and positively affect the health and
functioning of the host's intestinal tract, and which are used in nutritional supplements for its
therapeutic properties or added to foodstuffs for its prophylactic and health enhancing properties.
PROBIOTIC MICROORGANISMS:
Are bacterial strains selected mainly from the genera, Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, for
which no drug or antibiotic resistance has been reported in independent studies published in
credible, acceptable, peer-reviewed scientific journals. These strains shall have GRAS
(Generally Accepted as Safe) status granted by the United States of America's Food and Drug
Administration and can be used in biotherapeutic purposes or added foodstuffs for its prophylactic
and health enhancing properties.
PACKAGING
The product is packed into 500g labeled plastic bag. Each 500g plastic bag contains 10 meals of
50g each. These are then packed into 12.5 kilogram plastic bags.
FLAVOURS
The product is currently available in Creamy Vanilla, Apricot Swirl and Berry Blast.

Strict quality control procedures are enforced during manufacture.
The manufacturing environment is also subject to strict monitoring and control.
